By Noor Jabra: I have recently noticed in Lebanon that the catering in birthday parties consisted of intricately decorated cupcakes; sticky little sponges drizzling with chocolate and pastel-colored sprinkles.I would go out with friends and hear the frequent mention of cupcakes. To my surprise, this was also the case with my male friends who shared an equal craving for these lavish treats.
