Starch Foundation is a unique concept that supports local talents of Lebanon; those with high taste in fashion that struggle for a chance of exposure. This foundation began three years ago showcasing different young and talented designers every season.
On October 21st, Starch reopened its boutique for its latest season in Saifi Village, Beirut gathering all new designers of bags, accessories, and clothes; new styles, creativity and originality.
Starch this season is featuring Emily Cremona (fashion) by Deena Wassef and Rouba Mouawad, Margherita (bags and accessories) by Ghita Abi Hanna, Nadine Mneimneh (fashion), Racha el Abbas (fashion), Rana Mikdashi (jewellery), and Najla el Zein (interiors).
Many attended the reopening to support local talent and encourage their careers along with Starch’s concept. Following the reopening, Starch team, fans and designers headed to The Basement for an after party of fun, celebrations and to host a fundraiser.
The after party was part of The Basement’s party series “I love Pop” where the music filled the room with fun hits and spins by DJ Jade and Bestov.
