On July 15th, the long awaited opening of Louis Vuitton store in Beirut took place. The store is located on Allenby Street, in the heart of Downtown Beirut and on the periphery of Beirut Souks.
Louis Vuitton CEO and President Yves Carcelle and Damien Vernet, General Manager of Middle East and India held a press conference in the morning to announce the opening which was followed by an official store opening later that night.
Yves Carcelle hosted the Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri along with French actress Catherine Deneuve, Lebanese film director and actress Nadine Labaki and singers Haifa Wehbe and Elissa, along with many local dignitaries and personalities from Lebanon.
A glamorous party followed at The Bubble where pop singer from YAS, Yasmine Hamdan entertained the fashionable crowd with four tracks from her album “Arabology” marking the significant arrival of Louis Vuitton in the capital city.
