Beirut International Award Festival, BIAF, 2010 took place at Biel on November 27th with the presence of many Arab and Lebanese including many singers and actors. BIAF honors distinguished and innovative personalities of 2010 from different industries who should be awarded for their achievements and success.

Contrary to Murex D’Or, BIAF is not based on a voting system but rather on a committee who selects certain people to honor. BIAF has turned into a grand glamorous event which many anticipates along with a red carpet appearance that hosted many celebrities this year.

Amongst those who were honored are Ghada Abdel Razeq, Carole Samaha, director Simon Asmar, innovator David Frem, and Asala. Designers and Eastern dancers were also part of the honoree list.
