Under the patronage of the Lebanese Yacht Federation, the Lebanese Yacht Club hosted a Jet Ski Lebanese Coasting Championship on October 3rd gathering many Jet Skiers and fans of this water activity.
This event took place at the luxurious newly-opened beach resort in Jbeil C-Flow. With this resort’s geographic location, the competition combined sports, luxury and plenty of fun in the sun.
The race circuit was drawn by six huge “buoy markers” setting the length of the laps as half a mile along the C Flow shore. An average of 40 to 60 competitors were divided into different groups depending on their jet ski’s engine size.
Winners of the 215 horsepower engine were respectively Tarek Barhoush (First place), Tony Angalil and Pascal Chahine. As for the 255 horsepower engine, first place winner was Chadi Khalaf, second place went to Tony Angalil once more and lastly Chade Faisal.
The event was unique in concept inspired by Lebanon’s passion for Jet Skiing and the great October weather.
