Search for Common Ground with implementing partners Lebanese Center for policy Studies held an opening reception at the Metropolis Empire Sofil, Achrafieh on December 12th to mark the final event of the 2009 Common Ground Film Festival entitled Truth and Reconciliation. The film festival had toured eight universities and 12 schools across Lebanon in an attempt to start a dialogue amongst the Lebanese to think about their common history and learn from the past in order to build a more peaceful future. The main speaker in the event was Her Excellency Aud Lise Norheim, Ambassador of Norwary.
