The opening of the second edition of the Lebanese Wine Festival, Vinifest, took place on October 1st at Hippodrome du Parc de Beyrouth and will go on until the 3rd. This unique festival is under the patronage of Michael Pharaon and presented by Events Company in partnership with HSBC and in collaboration with Lebanon’s Association of Wine Producers and Lebanese winemakers.

The event attracted many people spending a night taste-testing different kinds of wine in a festive feel and supporting local production. The show featured the animated show by French star singer Julie Zenatti, improvising pianist Eric La Guen and graphologist Noha Baz Manasterski. Not to mention, Walid Mouzannar, secretary general of the Lebanese Academy of Gastronomy, revealed to the crowd how to pair the right wine with the right dish.
