Indonesian community holds charity dinner
Tell Your Friends » The Indonesian Student Association in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Lebanon held a charity dinner on October 10th at the Movenpick Hotel. The dinner was to raise money for the aftermath of the earthquake that had struck West Sumatra on September 30th. The earthquake left behind a damaged infrastructure and claimed thousands of people.
The dinner showcased Indonesian culture through dance performances. Many attended the event including Miss Lebanon 2009 Martine Andraos. Money collected would go to the victims of the disaster.
