Kunhadi’s Taxi Night gets everyone home safe from Sky Bar
Kunhadi organized Taxi Night at Sky Bar to campaign against drunk driving on August 17th. The idea is to let everyone get back home safe with Charlie Taxi; the crowd received one drink and a one-way taxi ride. Many attended to support the organization’s mission including Minister of Interior and Municipalities Ziad Baroud and encourage people to take taxis home, rather than risk the lives of themselves and others around them.
Kunhadi organization was founded in the aftermath of the death of Hadi who died of a car crash. Close friends and family then decided to spread the word. The organization’s mission is to increase awareness on the dangers of drunk driving and promote safety on the road. The number of car accidents in Lebanon have been increasing killing many young people, according to Kunhadi.
From us to every party goer and bar hopper, have fun and stay safe; Don’t drink and drive.
