Casino Du Liban launched their Lebanese Poker Championship at Edde Sands’ Beach Bar on July 22nd and the games began! The party gathered many poker lovers including poker star Joe Hachem and there was a draw of nine guests to be part of an unique Texas Hold’em experience; a virtual game of 45 minutes and no cash was involved so everybody played for fun.  Also, a buffet dinner was opened along with a live band and of course fireworks to commemorate the launching of the championship.

Casino Du Liban initiated the Texas Hold’em tournaments in the summer of 2007 and on weekly basis, many came to participate. For the past two years, the tournaments attracted over 22,000 participants and the biggest prize came down to $620,000. Nice!

The championship took place on the 23rd, 24th and the 25th  of July and we hope that the best player had won!
