“Daraj El Fan”  is being held on St. Nicholas’ stairs in Gemaizeh displaying local and famous paintings including the Mona Lisa.

The paintings ranged from portraits, nature to different types of flowers making the scene a colorful display of Lebanese art. The pieces were set on the sides of the stairs and attendees walked up and down satisfying their artistic appetite.

The event was under the patronage of our President General Michel Sleiman and it is the third festival of 2009 of the Beirut’s Tourist Festivals. This was the 16th Art exhibition sponsored by Diwan Ahl El Kalam.

Many tourists, Lebanese and known personalities attended the opening to kick off the exhibition that will be held from the 18th till the 28th of June.
We suggest you don’t miss this opportunity of checking out Lebanese paintings and Art.

P.S. There was a huge statue of a man playing the Trumpet, very cool!
