On August 5th, the play “Too Much Love…Kills” took the stage of Baalbeck Festival 2010 for a pure Lebanese scene ending the festival with something local. The plot focuses on the differences and conflicts between East and West making music the only universal language.

The musical is a collaboration between Ghassan Rahbani and Melhem Barakat. Rahbani is the director and producer of the play while music compositions are by Barakat; both had roles in the play. Ranya El Hajj and Pierre Chamoun were accompanied by 100 artists of actors, dancers, and back ups.
