Deir El Qamar Festival kicked off its summer program on July 9th with Jamal Abu al-Hosn playing his blends of classical, ethnic and electronic use. Al Hosn brought Lebanese Folklore back to life with a futuristic twist of “New Age”.

The second night featured “Blues for the Moon”‘ the Lebanese band that plays classical blues with rock and jazz. The band consists of Issa Goraieb (Saxophone), Kamal Badaro (Electric Guitar), Adonis Assaf (Keyboard, Vocals), Fouad Goraieb (Electric Guitar), Toni Rizkallah (Bass), Malek Rizkallah (drums) and Joe Zarif (vocals).

Both nights witnessed a grand audience including Dori Shamoun and others to share the celebrations of the 11th annual Deir El Qamar Festival.
