The Francophone Games 2009, 6th edition, came to an end in their host country Lebanon on October 6th with a ceremony mixing all cultures with a Lebanese touch. Different types of musicians participated in the ceremony and the star of the scene was the Lebanese singer Ragheb Alama who sang the Lebanese National Anthem and gave the crowd one of his best performances. The crowd danced and sang along enjoying the prestige Lebanon received by hosting the Francophone games.

Since September 27th and the opening ceremony, 2500 young people from five continents participated in the games and experienced wins and losses on the land of Lebanon and at the Camille Chamoun stadium.
