Tarab Night kicks off Sidon Festival 09
Tell Your Friends » Sidon Festival, Ramadan Nights, kicked off its festivities on August 26th at the Khan Al Afranj with a slogan that claims Sidonto be “the city of life”. The opening of Ramadan Nights featured Ghada Ghanem with a traditional Arabic singing “Tarab” along with her orchestra. The big concert space with dangled lighting decorating the upper parameter attracted many people including Minister of Culture Tamam Salam, Minister of Education Bahia Hariri, Caretaker Prime Minister Fouad Siniora and many others from the Ministry of Tourism and the media. The Khan Nights will include different cultural entertainment aspects including theatrical plays, live French recital and Italian opera. Not to mention, the Tyre Exhibition that will open throughout the Month of Ramadan.
