From July 31st to August 3rd, Lebanon witnessed the First International Salsa Festival bringing together many famous artists, teachers and performers at Bel Horizon Country Club in Adma. The festival held workshops for those of us who want to learn how to switch our hips on salsa music for over 40 hours throughout the three days.

Aside from the workshops, the festival hosted parties each night with Latin DJs and international and local artists including Nuno Furtado and Vanda Gameiro and Francisco Vasquez heating up the dance floor with their moves. The Salsa Championship was on the last day honoring those who excel in their dancing. The show featured many dancers of all ages showing off their salsa skills.

If you were there dancing, learning how to dance or just watching great salsa talents, check and see if Star Scene caught you in the act.
