A pop performance with The Pussycat Dolls at Biel, Beirut
The Pussycat Dolls threw a concert for their Lebanese fan base organized by Sky Management, MIX FM and F Factory at Biel on July 31st marking their last stop in their 2009 world tour for the latest album Doll Domination. The concert was flooded with Pussycat fans and those who enjoy pop music with a full-on dance performance. The dolls played their most popular songs such as Jai Ho, I don’t need a man and Don’t Cha while dancing and trying to pump up the crowd.
You don’t have to be a Dolls fan to have enjoyed the concert, pop music after all is popular music. With a screen displaying at some point a brief documentary about the Dolls, the ladies gave a smokin’ performance with their tight, glittery outfits.
At times, we felt bad for Nicole Scherzinger who had to do all the singing, but she is one front-woman who deserves her spot and many would agree since some of the cheering was particularly for her. She attempted some words in Arabic to say Hello and I love you, we appreciate it, Nicole.
Concerts are supposed to be crowded and this one was no different. If you were lost trying to find where your ticket would place you, like us, some of the organizers were friendly enough to escort us to the proper spot rather than just pointing in the air which spot to go.
One tip for any concert goer: when the concert is over, make sure you leave with the early goers, otherwise, you’ll be stuck trying to reach the exit.
People of all ages came, some with their mothers, to enjoy a live performance of their favorite band: The Pussycat Dolls.
