The Academy-Award-winner and Lebanese composer Gabriel Yared played at the Beiteddine Festival on July 25th accompanied by the Budapest Concert Orchestra. This was Yared’s first Lebanese concert with his Lebanese fan base. He played his famous scores from the movies The English Patient and l’Amant.

Yared has been nominated many times for awards and have won four awards including best score for The English Patient by The Golden Globes and Academy awards and best music for L’Amant by French Academy of Cinema.
