Deep Purple, the British band that defined a genre, played at Baalbeck International Festival on July 25th rocking every corner of the auditorium. Heavy metal and hard rock were a new type of music back in the late sixties brought to the music scene by bands such as Led Zeppelin and of course Deep Purple. This British band took hard rock to a new level mixing progressive rock and classical music with their style becoming one of the most popular bands of all times. With over 14 albums, Deep Purple is always a must-see show.

Many fans of all ages came to Baalbeck to witness a once-in-a-lifetime performance by their favorite band cheering and singing along to famous songs; such songs made Deep Purple fans rebels and themselves, legends.
