Aznavour creates magical night at Beiteddine
Charles Aznavour charmed the crowd of Bieteddine Festival on July 9th creating a perfect musical picture through lyrical genius and a mesmerizing voice. Aznavour, the world renowned French Armenian singer, has composed over a 1000 songs and went beyond his musical talent to become the ambassador of Armenia to Switzerland and Armenia’s permanent delegate to the United Nations. He is a singer, composer, diplomat and a humanitarian activist. Aznavour carries the essence of being a global artist with a message.
Many Lebanese Familiar faces attended the event including Walid Jumblat, Houda Sanioura, Tamam Salam and Bernard kouchner, the French Foreign minister. Not to mention, the crowd that flooded the auditorium to witness a one-of-a-kind musical experience.
Before the concert, many visited the Um Kulthum exhibition and enjoyed pictures that traced the Egyptian legend’s life including her personal and career life.
