The building of UFA Assurances stands large at the heart of Beirut City across from Martyr’s Square displaying 3D Mapping skills projecting memories and stories of Lebanon’s heritage.

December 22nd witnessed the beginning of this creative event at 8:30 p.m. which will also take place on the 29th, 29th, and 30th of this festive month. The mapping is for an hour and is divided into three section.

The first is If They Told Me About BeirutĀ  thenĀ  Colors of an Old Beirut in which the former reveals stories about Lebanon narrated by a storyteller; stories that date back 5000 years ago with a traditional-sounding musical background of Oud and Nai.This section is showcased on 3D Max.

The later section projects certain images from a 1962 documentary on Lebanon; old houses, ruins and many historical sites. The last stage showcases local talents of 15 artists who participated in this colorful 3D mapping extravaganza.

The main purpose behind this grand show is to highlight the importance of urban art and artists starting from the old images of Beirut to the most advanced way of telling a simple story.
