WNBA President visits 4 cities including Eddé Yard
The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, ECA, SportsUnited Office, in partnership with the National Basketball Association, NBA, and the Women’s National Basketball Association, WNBA, sent the President of the WNBA, Donna Orender, to Lebanon as a Sports Envoy.
Orender was accompanied by former NBA star Rolando Blackman and WNBA player Ebony Hoffman. On October 22nd, they were at Eddé Yard in Byblos old souk with Roger Eddé, Ryan Gliha and Jennifer Williams from the U.S. Embassy.
They conducted leadership clinics for coaches and share their basketball expertise with over 350 youth. They also provided guidance to the participants about nutrition, strength and conditioning, and team building.
